MusicSupervisors.com was developed as a resource for musicians, record labels/publishers, filmmakers, content creators, and music supervisors. Each member category will have specific access to targeted searchable databases. For example, musicians will upload their music into website to be searchable by those looking for music for their projects. MusicSupervisors will search the database for specific songs based on certain criteria, such as tempo or lyrics.
Advance search tools will include: Genre, Tempo, Mood, Instrumentation, Vocals, Lyrics, Pricing, and more. Click here to see details on category specific criteria.
We are in the process of developing additional services to help musicians get their music into projects. Services will range from priority placement on the home page, to connecting specific songs with targeted projects. Musicians will also be considered for SuperPicks which will include special promotions, from quarterly CD compilations to newsletter exposure.
Do you offer Premium Services to filmmakers and content creators?
One of the primary functions of MusicSupervisors.com is to connect filmmakers with music supervisors. Each category will have access to the other. However, there may be certain instances where we can facilitate the process by filtering and feeding specific types of music based on supervisors needs. These service packages will be developed on a custom basis.
Do you offer premium services to MusicSupervisors?
We are in the process of developing premium services for MusicSupervisors, helping to connect them to projects and assisting with specific music needs. These services will be announced shortly. If, as a Music Supervisor, you are interested in customized service, please send email to Supervisors@MusicSupervisors.com.
What is the difference between Project Showcases and Project Classifieds?
A number of projects will want to provide as much details as possible, with specifics about the project, links to websites, etc. This is possible with the Project Showcase. You will get a page to provide a great deal of information.
Many projects, however, would rather not provide contact information or too much detail. They prefer to provide necessary information and remain anonymous while reviewing music submissions.
Both of these options are complimentary at this time, and come with a web mail address here at MusicSupervisors.com. Submissions can be sent directly to this inbox, which you will have access to.
How will I set up and access my personal email inbox with MusicSupervisors.com?
When you set up a Project Account, you will be asked to provide a password and user name for email address purposes. MusicSupervisors.com admin will then use this user name in the webmail address.
For example, for CoffeeNation, the filmmakers would access their account by typing the following:
webmail.musicsupervisors.com (the www is not necessary).
Then the filmmaker will be asked to provide the user name (for this email account) and password used during the intial Project Account sign up.
